Instructional Coach

Thomas Family Picture  As a lifelong learner and teacher, I am excited to work with students and teachers every day to improve student outcomes. I have been a teacher for 20+ years and have a background in special education, literacy coaching, and general education K-12. In my role as an instructional coach, I work with teachers to build their capacity to be highly effective. This includes being part of our Professional Learning Community, which meets weekly to plan, assess, and evaluate what students are learning. Furthermore, I help plan and present professional learning in conjunction with our leadership team. We work hard as a team to implement our mission, vision, values, and collective commitments. I am blessed to work with an amazing group of professionals that come to work every day to help your student lean!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy skiing, rock climbing, listening and playing music, and playing games. I also enjoy reading and taking classes. My boys grew up in the Columbine area. I have one at Columbine High and my oldest is away at college. My husband and I will be empty nesters very soon!
